A to-do list
in Telegram.
You already spend the day in Telegram, so it’s a natural place for your tasks. There are three ways to keep a list there. Here is what each one does well.

Three waysWhere to keep tasks in Telegram
1. Saved Messages
Your private chat with yourself. Write each task as a message, pin the important ones and delete what’s done. It is free and always at hand, but nothing gets ticked off, and nothing reminds you unless you set a reminder on a message by hand: press and hold the Send button and choose Set a reminder.
2. Telegram’s built-in checklists
Since July 2025 Telegram has checklists. Open the attachment menu, choose Checklist, add items and send it to any chat: Saved Messages, a private chat or a group. Items are ticked off right in the chat, and the creator decides whether others can tick items or add new ones. Creating a checklist needs Telegram Premium. Checklists have no due dates or reminders.
3. A task bot
A bot such as Skedix turns a message into a task and reminds you when it’s due. Write it the way you’d say it, “call the plumber tomorrow at 10”, or send a voice message. Then:
/tasksshows your list, with To do, In progress and Done filters;- each task has a Done button, so finished things leave the list;
- tasks with a time remind you in Telegram, and routines like “every weekday at 9 …” come back by themselves;
- in a group connected to Skedix, an admin can reply to any message with
/todoto make it a task for the team; - the same list is on the web, in a calendar.

Which one to use
All three live in Telegram. The difference is what happens after you write the task down.
